Byron Proper Hamburgers - London Eye 1

Hello ! Aujourd'hui on va faire bilingue pour rendre hommage au Byron de Londres. C'est en réalité une chaîne qui a une vingtaine d'emplacements dans la capitale anglaise. J'ai testé celui de Beak Street un vendredi soir (où tous les anglais sont plutôt occupés à boire ^^). Leur concept est de rester naturels et réaliser "à la perfection" les recettes connues et aimées par tous.

Hello ! Today I'm going bilingual just to pay hommage to Byron. It's actually a chain restaurant that has around twenty places in London. I decided to try the one in Beak Street on a Friday night (when apparently people in the english city are more enclined to drink at that hour ^^). Their thing is to go back to basics and manage to make some perfect burgers like we know and love them.









Le restaurant est plutôt spacieux et décoré avec le meilleur goût. Les serveurs sont nombreux et extrêmement agréables. Tout est mis en oeuvre pour que nous passions un bon moment ! Rapidement, nous pouvons passer commande.

The restaurant is quite spacious and decorated with the best taste. The waiters are plenty and extremely nice and caring. Everything is set for us to have a great time ! When sitted, we can go through the menu and order.



Pour commencer, nous sommes tentés par les Tortillas chips. Ils sont servis en bonne portion avec une sauce salsa à la coriandre et un guacamole bien frais. Excellent !

Ils proposent un large choix de bières mais personnellement j'ai plutôt été attiré par le Milkshake Oreo. Franchement c'est le meilleur que j'ai jamais gouté ! La texture, le goût, les petits biscuits et la fraîcheur ! Je lui mets facilement 10. Rien que pour lui je pourrais revenir ...

They offer a quite large range of beers that you can choose from. I was however drawn to the Oreo Milkshake and quite frankly it was the best I have ever had ! The texture, the flavour, the biscuits and the temperature ! It was a perfect 10. I'd come back for this one that's for sure ...



En accompagnement j'ai goûté les frites maisons (avec peau) et les onion rings. Tous deux excellents ! Moelleux et pleins de goût.

To accompany our burgers I tried the homemade fries (skin-on) and the onion rings. Both excellent ! Smooth and tasty.



Et terminons avec les hamburgers ! J'ai eu la chance d'en tester deux :
- The Chilli : Piment vert, American cheese, salade Iceberg et mayonnaise pimentée. Il est bien pimenté et le steak est juteux (saignant).
- The Byron : Bacon séché, cheddar mature, laitue, tomate, oignon rouge et sauce Byron. La sauce est très bonne et le bacon est excellent !
Les deux burgers étaient extra mais j'ai préféré le Byron. J'ai passé un super moment au restaurant et je reviendrai. Tout était parfait ! J'aurais aimé avoir plus de fromage dans mon hamburger et avoir le temps de finir mes chips avant de commencer les hamburgers.

Let's finish with the burgers ! I had the chance to taste two of them :
- The Chilli : Green chilli, American cheese, shredded iceberg and chipotle mayonnaise. It's spicy, the patty is moist (medium rare).
- The Byron : Dry cure bacon, mature Cheddar, lettuce, tomato, red onion and Byron sauce. The sauce is great and the bacon is excellent !
The two burgers were awesome but I prefered the Byron. I had a great time in that restaurant and I will come back. Everything was perfect ! I would have loved to have more cheese in my burger and have the time to eat the chips before they served the burgers.
